Diversity Is an Asset
Leon County is home to students and scholars from across the United States and from around the world. That diversity is not a challenge to overcome; it is one of our greatest economic and intellectual assets.
Candidate for Leon County Commission
Public health leadership, healthcare transformation, and service with purpose.
For too long, our county's full potential has gone unrealized. My own journey of starting over in this country taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and the opportunity to build a better life.
As an immigrant, a woman, and a public health leader, I bring a perspective that has not traditionally had a seat at the table. I understand the talent within our diverse communities and the importance of ensuring every family feels seen, heard, and able to thrive.
I'm stepping forward to listen, unite, and turn that potential into practical results for Leon County.

We should be giving talented people more reasons to choose Tallahassee: to study here, conduct research here, build businesses here, create jobs here, and ultimately make this community their home.
Growth means nothing if people cannot live healthy lives. That is why one of my central priorities is better access to quality healthcare for everyone in our community.
My vision is a Leon County that actively welcomes talent and turns it into opportunity: better jobs, stronger research and innovation, a growing economy, and a community where people can build a future.
We need to build a county where people can get the care they need, where we invest in prevention and recovery, and where we continue confronting the opioid crisis and reducing recidivism so that people have a real opportunity to rebuild their lives.

A strong community is built on trust, leadership, and collaboration. As your County Commissioner, I am committed to working closely with law enforcement agencies, city leaders, county departments, healthcare partners, local businesses, and residents to create a safer, healthier, and more prosperous future for everyone.
County Commissioners play a vital role in shaping our community by making decisions on public safety, infrastructure, responsible budgeting, economic development, public health, and essential county services. My priority is to ensure every taxpayer dollar is invested wisely while supporting the people who protect our neighborhoods and improving the services families rely on every day.
Together, we can strengthen our county, support our first responders, and build a community where families, businesses, and future generations can thrive.
