Early Life and Education
Mishy Rashid grew up in a family with loving parents who set the bar high for success in Pakistan. With four brothers and a sister by her side, Mishy’s upbringing was steeped in love and shared values. Her father, a trailblazer in pursuing higher education, and her mother, a dedicated high school principal, imbued in Mishy a deep sense of purpose and compassion.
Mishy’s educational journey took her through esteemed institutions in Pakistan before venturing to the United States to broaden her horizons. From St. Joseph’s Convent and Convent of Jesus and Mary’s to Northeast High Vikings in Philadelphia and Arcadia University, Mishy’s thirst for knowledge and pursuit of excellence were evident. She graduated with a degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Arcadia University, where she distinguished herself as the first undergraduate student to attend a special seminar on freedom of speech and liberty at Princeton University. Presently, Mishy holds a Master’s in Public Health from Everglades University Sarasota and is pursuing a Doctorate in Health Sciences at Keiser University.

As the owner and manager of Angelic Home Care in Sarasota, Florida, Mishy exemplifies compassion in providing care for seniors. In 2019, Mishy’s dedication to advocacy work earned her the esteemed title of ‘Ms. Florida Coast,’ providing her with a platform to raise awareness for causes close to her heart, including ‘My Hope Chest.’ As a volunteer at All Faith Food Bank and ambassador for the Women Interactive Network, Mishy tirelessly champions the voices of those in need and actively engages in community initiatives.

Mishy’s entrepreneurial prowess extends into the beauty industry, where she founded Shazi Glam cosmetics and makeup, pioneering products tailored for optimal skin health and routine care.
